Our Approach to Maintenance Services

Across our business, we pride ourselves on our customer first approach. From the moment our clients engage us, we appoint a dedicated project manager as the primary point of contact. Additionally, we put great emphasis on our teams building strong relationships with our clients through reliability, accountability and open lines of communication at all stages of the works.

Our project managers and site team members understand that maintenance, be it scheduled or reactive, needs to be completed as swiftly as possible to minimise disruption and loss to the daily operations of your business.

Reactive Maintenance

Unexpected defects, failures or damage can bring business to a halt. That is why we offer our clients a reliable reactive maintenance service to get your business back up and running with the least operational disruption.

Our new client on-boarding process means that we start by understanding your business, premises and equipment and complete any necessary inductions or site inspections. This approach ensures that when you need reactive maintenance carried out, our team can act immediately to fix the failure without delay.

Additionally, your dedicated project manager will liaise with all stakeholders always involved and keep everyone up to date.

Preventive & Scheduled Maintenance

Building defects and machinery failures have a massive impact on business. Our preventative or scheduled maintenance programs are designed to work around your daily operations to carry out necessary services, repairs and seasonal maintenance. Planning these services help reduce the likelihood of a major incident or failure occurring and causing major business disruption.

Our in-house team and hand-picked contractors will get to know your business and site well, enabling them to provide you with ongoing advisory services such as repair recommendations, maintenance schedules, compliance checks and regulatory updates.

Quality & Workmanship

Austen Building Group operates within ‘Austen Integrated Management System’ – AIMS for short. This ensures we handle matters pertaining to quality, environmental risk and occupational health and safety quickly and efficiently. Our quality assurance measures ensure that a high standard of works is achieved by our teams and subcontractors at all times. We carefully select the products we use and partner with suppliers and contractors who align with our values and quality standards.

We are also a Zero Harm business and take a highly tailored approach to workplace health and safety that ensures no individual (employee or not) is exposed to potential harm. All our staff and contractors deserve to return home safe and without injury at the end of every day, and we actively tailor our OH&S policies to ensure this is the case.
